2011 Olympia Results
What a weekend! I’m still looking for results for some of the side show events, but the main bodybuilding stuff was incredible.
To start things off, let’s talk men’s bodybuilding. The incredible thing here was that Phil beat Jay, the reigning four time champ, for the Mr. Olympia title. Jay was very gracious, and to be honest, if he was going to lose to anybody, his friend Phil was the person that he was ok with.

Men 202 LBs.
Kevin English has owned the 202 division. Next year the weight limit moves up to 212 pounds, so that could change the landscape of this class.

Women’s Figure
I didn’t watch Women’s Figure this year, but from the pictures that I’ve seen, Nicole deserved this win.

My baby cousin has the most perfect feminine body but once a year gets super ripped like that and competes. It’s amazing to watch the transformation.

I am sooo intrigued by women’s figure competing lately. The disciplines involved must be outta this world.

Figure, and now Bikini are the best classes for women, IMO. The evolution of women’s bodybuilding over the years amazes me. I know a few figure competitors, and these ladies work hard at what they do, while still looking like women.
