Power Friday – Wk 6

A great week for lifting. The weights continue to stack on, but I think that my squats stalled out. I’ll stay at this weight for the next session.

When I started, and up until recently, doing squats three days a week weren’t bad. With the weight getting up there, I feel my legs wanting to take the middle day off for some extra rest. I’m going to stay with the program, but I think I’ll look at modifying this schedule in the future.

I found another comp that would be cool to compete at. It’s in Dallas in August, but it is through some small organization that requires competitors to join their group. Being a rinky-dink outfit, I don’t want to do that. Granted, I’ll have to do this no matter the meet, but with a bigger association, there is better choices.

Grind it out!
