Oprah Prefers the Gym Over Junk Food

Oprah finds pride in the gym

Oprah talks on Twitter

Oprah proud of going to gym vs. junk food

When asked, Oprah’s proudest accomplishments include going to the gym rather than drinking wine and eating chips.

That’s good news. The talk show diva, and owner of her very OWN television network (Sorry about that, couldn’t be helped), has had her issues with her weight in the past. Hopefully this is a good sign for her future.

What about you? Do you consider it a proud moment to get up off of the couch to pump iron? Or to push past the cookies and ice cream to get at the apple and peanut butter?

You’re not alone!

Every day I wake up, and stumble in to do my exercises. That’s an accomplishment to be proud of.

Oprah is a person. Just like every celebrity. She struggles the same as you. Sure, she struggles in the lap of luxury. Still, she has to overcome.

She hasn’t always been where she is. Struggle must be her middle name. She continues to do so to this day.

Learn from her answer-Oprah Winfrey is successful in areas of her life because she perseveres.

Where have you stumbled, picked yourself up, and found success?

I use to be a huge Oprah fan. She lost me when she interviewed and promoted Eckhart Tolle and his works. I won’t watch her show or network ever again. (I liked the “OWN” comment above. Made me chuckle.)

Anne, I couldn’t agree more. Michael Voris did an entire show based on Oprah being a false profit. It was all tied around her relationship with Tolle.

To get back on topic, I’m glad that she sees getting into the gym as a proud accomplishment. Good for her. It also happens to be one of the things that make me feel good about myself.

I’m one of the few people that love a good political or religion conversation. Try to keep it on topic though.

Sorry about that. I understand. That’s why I tried to get back on topic.

No doubt, sorry Todd. She just irks me, and made me lose focus. Won’t happen again. :)

  7. I tell you what, summer makes all the difference. It’s already getting into the 70′s here and while I’m always doing my Wii Fit yoga this weather has me out and about and getting my fine ass even finer.

  8. Todd says:

@Peter and @Anne, no worries. I just don’t want it to get too far off topic.

@Julie, You’re right, summer does make all the difference. We should be working through the colder months for those summer months though, right? :)
