Nutritionist chronicles – part 9

More good news, bad news

I wish the story was at the end, but every time I go to write about my visit, it just seems to open more doors to more issues. I got another bio-impedance, and I am down 3 pounds. That is good for a 2 week period, but it is 2 pounds lean muscle mass and 1 pound body fat. Why am I losing lean muscle mass?

My nutritionist has upped my calories to 1200. I am doing 2 days body weight exercises, and 1 day cardio exercise. I am set to see the rheumatologist at the end of the month, and coincidently, I see her later the same day. I am sticking to my anti inflammatory powder, and taking probiotics. My thyroid medicine has been upped a couple doses. Hopefully that will be kicking in soon. I am also using coconut oil in my diet. It is saturated fat, but a good saturated fat. It is supposed to have great health benefits.

I am now working as a certified personal trainer part time. That is more great exercise. I actually get in and work out with my clients.

Not much to report. Hopefully the next visit will have some answers. Thanks for listening, and thank you for all the support!
